SEWAGE SLUDGE ACTION NETWORK (SSAN) is pleased to announce the group has been selected as a 2011 recipient of a Weaver Street Market’s Cooperative Community Fund grant. The $400 award will be presented at Weaver Street Market’s Annual Shareholder Meeting September 19th in Carrboro.

The Sewage Sludge Action Network is currently recruiting interns to assist the organization move forward with a number of initiatives related to protecting human and biological health from sewage sludge hazards. Students at Duke and Carolina are encouraged to apply. Please contact SSAN directly.
